What are
the two main services offered by DWP NAP?
The two main services offered by DWP NAP are Network Access
via Satellite (VSAT) and Network Access via Fibre Optics.
In order to better meet our customer needs, we customize
our services to three different types of Network Access
via Satellite (VSAT): SCPC, DVB-IP, DVB-RCS, and two different
types of Network Access via Fibre Optic: International Ethernet
and International IP Transit.

How
does the VSAT work?
The customer's network will be connected directly to STiX
(Singapore Telecommunication Internet Exchange). STiX is
the main international backbone exchange in Asia. STiX will
directly send the data to the end-user through other backbone
in different countries that are interconnected through terrestrial.

How
does the Fibre Optic work?
The customer's network will be directly connected to the
international network: Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, USA, England,
Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, Canada, Holland, South
Korea, Japan, Thailand, Australia (next) through Submarine
Cable Network

What
are the advantages of DWP NAP's VSAT?
1. DWP NAP's VSAT is directly connected to STiX that is
owned by SingTel.
2. DWP NAP's VSAT Network is being operated at C-Band.
C-Band, unlike Ku-Band, is weatherproof.
3. DWP NAP provides local support (DWP NAP is currently
the only Network Access Provider that provides
local support. And DWP NAP is partnering with SingTel

If
my company has several subsidiaries/offices in several different
places, which network services will be the most suitable
for my company?
If your company’s subsidiaries/offices are located
in the region that are within the service range of Fibre-Optics
Network, then we would recommend the International Ethernet
service. International Ethernet service is designed to meet
the needs of multinational company which each of its subsidiaries/offices
are being connected through Fibre-optics network so that
it will form one integrated network. The only interface
that is needed to have this service available is Ethernet.
If your company’s subsidiaries/offices are located
in the region that has no infrastructure to support any
network connection, then we would recommend VPN-IP (Virtual
Private Network via IP)

Does
DWP NAP also provide VPN Service that is able to integrate
the entire company network that has several different subsidiaries/offices
in several different locations into one network?
Yes, DWP NAP offers VSAT broadband service
that will be the best VPN solution for company that has
several different subsidiaries/offices in several different
locations. DWP NAP is committed to give the most effective
and efficient service without sacrificing the quality. If
the customer currently already has an existing network,
DWP NAP will also offer the customer solution regarding
the new VPN Network that will be built to best meet the
customer needs.

How
good is the quality of the Service that is being offered
by DWP NAP?
DWP NAP will guarantee 99% of Network Availability.
The average packet that is lost when sent through DWP NAP Network (Packet Loss) is approximately < 10%, while
the network will be considered disconnected above that number.
Mean Time to Response, which is defined as the average response
time by DWP NAP after receiving problem report from Customer,
is guaranteed by DWP NAP to be 1 (one) hour or less.
Mean Time to Recover, which is defined as the average time
needed by DWP NAP to fix/recover the existing problems
after receiving the problem report, is guaranteed by DWP NAP
to be 24 (twenty-four) hours or less.

is connected to the Internet then yes, it is possible to
integrate the system into VPN.
